Snapshot: In this passage Solomon tells us that there is even a time for certain emotions. Life will often bring us bad times that cause us pain. However, when we understand and expect hard times to come it helps us to have a better response. We often have unrealistic expectations of how life should be. Unrealistic expectations of life will lead us to be constantly disappointed.
Takeaway: Understanding the season leads to realistic expectations.
Realistic expectations lead to a better response.
APPLY: What is this passage calling me to do?
What unrealistic expectations cause us unnecessary pain?
What unrealistic expectations do you need to change?
PRAY: Ask God to help you have the right expectations.
